PMP Exam Prep classes held monthly
PTI's live, interactive 35-hour PMP® exam prep class is the best way to prepare for your PMP or CAPM certification exam.
The Project Management Institute's Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification is a globally recognized credential that reflects your knowledge, skills, and ability to produce project results. CIO magazine ranked the PMP as the top project management certification. Indeed.com placed the PMP certification as one of the most valuable in its list. Certified PMPs report earning up to 25% more than non-certified project management professionals.
Many providers of PMP prep training do not specialize in project management education. PTI is the best choice in Charlotte, North Carolina for PMP prep because we are narrowly focused on project management training and we are a PMP certification preparation training provider that is an Authorized Training Partner (ATP) with the Project Management Institute. Additionally, we keep our PMP prep class sizes small and our pricing for PMP certification preparation is always competitive. More details about our PMP certification exam preparation course features are below.
(1) Understand in depth the Project Management Professional (PMP®) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) exam format and question types.
(2) Understand in depth the project management domains (People, Process, Business Environment), process groups (Initiating, Planning, Executing, Closing, and Monitoring and Controlling) and knowledge areas (management of Integration, Scope, Schedule, Cost, Quality, Resources, Communications, Risk, Procurement, Stakeholders) tested on the PMP® and CAPM® certification exams.
(3) Learn to apply PMI recognized project management tools and techniques.
(4) Learn to calculate and apply fundamental project management formulas that may be tested on the PMP®and CAPM® certification exams.
* A note about passing rates: Many PMP® prep course providers advertise a passing rate of 95% or 97% or even 99%! The PMP exam is a very challenging exam so you should be suspicious of any providers advertising extremely high passing rates -- they are not being truthful. Ask them to explain how they calculate such a high pass rate and be ready to be entertained by their creative explanations! We offer a real guarantee and we will show you what you need to do to pass on your first attempt.
For groups interested in custom training at your site in North Carolina, we are eager to accommodate your preferences. We can deliver our standard 35-hour PMP exam prep course via a customized delivery schedule. Additionally, we can customize content to emphasize certain topics and/or to include information specific to your organization (e.g. methodology).
If custom content is desired, the process would be as follows:
$999 (30-day early bird); $1,099 (15-day early bird); $1,199 (regular).
Plus Book Fee.

Many PMP training providers in North Carolina (and elsewhere) offer a 4-day PMP boot camp from Monday through Thursday. To provide 35 hours of training in 4 days results in very long days that do not provide the optimal learning experience for PMP certification exam prep students.
In contrast, we offer a 5-day format and also run weekend and evening PMP classes. We are available to provide project management training upon request at your location (anywhere in the world) or ours.
If you do not see dates that work for you, please contact us. We very well may be able to add a class that will perfectly fit your schedule.
Our classes are a full 35 hours. Other providers include lunch times to get to 35 hours.
