Convenient -- Other test preparation providers take you away from work and family by requiring attendance during the day and/or travel to a distant city. Our PMP certification training classes are held in the evenings and on weekends at our center in Springfield, NJ. Course Description -- Our comprehensive PMP certification exam preparation course is aligned with the latest edition of PMI's project management body of knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), provides the 35 hours of project management education that PMI requires to be eligible for the exam, and covers all the topics you'll need to know. Project management training topics include: the management of schedule, scope, budgets, quality, resources, communications, and procurement, among others.
Small Class Size -- Maximum 10 students per PMP® exam preparation class is conducive to rapid learning.
Delivery Method -- Group live.
Field of Study -- Management services. Our 35-hour course equates to 35.0 CPE credits.
Learning Objectives -- Participants will:

(1) Understand in depth the Project Management Professional (PMP®) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) exam format and question types.

(2) Understand in depth the project management domains (People, Process, Business Environment), process groups (Initiating, Planning, Executing, Closing, and Monitoring and Controlling) and knowledge areas (management of Integration, Scope, Schedule, Cost, Quality, Resources, Communications, Risk, Procurement, Stakeholders) tested on the PMP® and CAPM® certification exams.

(3) Learn to apply PMI recognized project management tools and techniques.

(4) Learn to calculate and apply fundamental project management formulas that may be tested on the PMP®and CAPM® certification exams.

Prerequisites / Advanced Preparation -- None required.
Program Level -- This course is appropriate for a wide range of students from novice to advanced. The knowledge level is BASIC.
Guaranteed to Run -- We do not require a minimum number of students to run a class so you can rest assured that your class will not be cancelled. If, for some unlikely reason we do need to cancel (e.g. instructor takes ill at the last minute), we will refund your deposit plus 50% (i.e. $375) or match your deposit for a future class (i.e. extra $250 credit) according to your wishes.
Pass Guarantee -- We cannot guarantee that you will pass. However, if you attend all class sessions and sit for the CAPM® or PMP® exam within 60 days of taking our PMP exam prep course and do not pass, you may take the course again for free. For students attending project management training classes in person at our Springfield, New Jersey training center, we will also pay your CAPM® or PMP® reexamination fee (up to $275).
Cancellation/Refund Policy -- You can cancel your course for a full refund if you do so at least 30 days before the course start date or within 24 hours of registering. Otherwise, a $299.00 cancellation fee will apply.

* A note about passing rates: Many PMP® prep course providers advertise a passing rate of 95% or 97% or even 99%! The PMP exam is a very challenging exam so you should be suspicious of any providers advertising extremely high passing rates -- they are not being truthful. Ask them to explain how they calculate such a high pass rate and be ready to be entertained by their creative explanations! We offer a real guarantee and we will show you what you need to do to pass on your first attempt.

OUR NJ PMP CERTIFICATION / CAPM CERTIFICATION EXAM PREP CLASSES

Most PMP training providers in New Jersey (and elsewhere) offer a PMP boot camp from Monday through Thursday or Friday. Having 4 or 5 consecutive days of project management training without a break provides little opportunity for information processing and assimilation.

In contrast, we run weekend and evening PMP classes from our New Jersey training center monthly and also deliver our weekend PMP bootcamp from hotels in East Brunswick, NJ or Trenton, NJ approximately quarterly or when requested.

We are available to provide weekday training upon request -- at your location (anywhere in the world) or ours.

If you do not see dates that work for you, please contact us. We very well may be able to add a class that will perfectly fit your schedule.

Our classes are a full 35 hours. Other providers include lunch and break times to get to 35 hours.

Am I qualified to sit for the PMP® exam?

The PMP Handbook, available for free at PMI.org, spells out the necessary qualifications and provides other useful information. Essentially, you need 35 hours of project management education which you can obtain by taking our PMP certification exam prep course. Additionally, you need 3 years of project management experience if you have a bachelor's degree and 5 years of project management experience otherwise. If you do not yet have the experience, you may sit for the CAPM® (Certified Associate in Project Management) exam instead.

Where do I take the PMP exam?

The PMP exam is administered by Pearson Vue. You have the option of taking the PMP exam from the comfort of your home or office or you can take the PMP exam at a Pearson Vue testing center. You can find New Jersey PMP exam locations here: Test Centers for NJ PMP Exam

How much does the PMP exam cost?

You can find PMP exam pricing at PMI.org. As of March 2025, the PMP exam costs $425 if you are a PMI member and $675 if you are not a PMI member.
